Wow, very nice color. Earrings would be nice or maybe a 3 stone ring with diamond accents.

I like the idea, but would have to find more stones of the same size. I do have a pair of blue sapphires. Would that work?Date: 7/19/2007 11:20:20 PM

i'm picturing doing them in thin YG bezels, with the backs open, set equal lengths apart on a fairly thin YG rolo chain. instead of having the link connectors at 10 and 2, they would be at 3 and 9, so it all goes in a straight line. how far apart depends on how long the whole thing is -- probably about 1 inch? so they wouldn't go all the way around (unless you alternated another type of stone), but would take up a good bit, even with only the 3.
sortof like this, but it wouldn't make it all the way 'round unless you add on as mentioned. i'll see if i can find a better example but this is definitely the idea...
ETA2: the tiffany site killed my citrix session (i'm multitasking with jewelry and lawyerly stuff). grrrr.... (smashing imaginary blue boxes)

well, i like the dby bracelet but you would need 4 more to make it full as pictured. or you could go diamond, tsavorite diamond etc.. there is the tandem style necklace from whiteflash it you want to go pendant. the etoile (sp?) style band using diamonds with the tsavorites. if you do the earrings you could have the third stone embedded on a round locket. i am not sure if the description is accurate but i have seen many lockets with a stone or stones on the front.
are you setting in yg, wg or pt?
Ooh, what weight are you looking for? They''ll be gorgeous with your e-ring.Date: 7/20/2007 7:11:22 AM

Very pretty - I''m looking for a couple like that to make stud earrings. I am after a pair of diamond jackets for them.
Thanks for the design idea. I''m concered that they are too small for studs. What do you think of this one?Date: 7/20/2007 7:59:26 AM

Very nice colour and cut. 2 would make great studs, 3 would be for a 3 stone ring. Maybe a tri-stone pendant in a triangular pattern?

Harriet, 5x5 isn''t too small for studs, especially since they are ''polite'' earrings unless you have really large earlobes. They are a ''polite'' size. You can always dress them up with a diamond melee halo.
The pear posted doesn''t have the ''zing'' of the rounds.
of course you too! I saw the pic of you and FI, I just wished your eyes weren''t closed; oh well at least I got a sneak peek.Date: 7/20/2007 1:00:22 AM

How exciting about Campbell Bridges. Do keep us posted.Date: 7/20/2007 11:08:29 AM

I''m thinking 5mm would be nice - but in the interest of not hitting my head against a wall I''m going to buy the jackets first!
I got in touch recently with Campbell Bridges - who discovered Tsavorite and hopefully might be able to get some good stones (or good rough if I don''t like their cut) direct from the mine.
Thank you.Date: 7/20/2007 11:39:55 AM

Seriously, the cut on that round is beautiful.
