There is no PM function on PS and we are not allowed to share email addresses publicly. Please post pictures of the stone in question here. Thanks.

And at the risk of stating the obvious, quartz is a type of stone, so...

I could be very wrong, however, I can see bubbles inside, and am thinking it could be a very well weathered old piece of glass.

DK

I was thinking this too. I found a similar thing a couple years ago.

You could try a scratch test or put it on a refractometer to test for single refraction.

Please give as much information as you can, as you would to someone in person. Where did you find it? What do you think it is, and why do you think that?

I agree with the above. The shape and inclusions make it unlikely to be quartz.

I tried sctraching it with steel knife with no succecs, i tried braking it with another stone with no succecs again so i dont think its glass, and i don't know where its came from cuase i find it together with other stones completly random propably droped from a pebble bag or something

Do you have a piece of quartz you can try scratching it with? Hitting it isn't going to accurately test for hardness, and a knife won't scratch most glass.

I think I'm seeing a rather big round bubble. Any possibilities that it's a man-made glass?

I dont think this is a handmade cuase if you see the stone closely you notice a second layer of the same material melted upon the stone propably from a volcano explosion where it created also, plus if it was hand made that second layer proves that its a very poor handmade from an unskilled person.

Do you have any rockhound friends who might have simple gemmological tools? They should be able to eliminate most of the possibilities quickly and easily with the stone in hand. Unfortunately, I strongly do not believe it to be quartz based on the shape and inclusions.

The nice and big rounded bubbles make me think it's glass.
Neat parlor trick: Put the stone on your lips. Does it feel lukewarm? Glass is a poor heat conductor and will feel warmer than quartz.
