Sweet! A pity she doesn't ship to Brazil, otherwise I would have gotten a few for myself (a nice earring and ring set, probably).
The sides (at the very bottom) look steep, which is more awkward to set. |

So, did you grab one of them, Chrono? (I think you usually do higher end stones, though.)
Thanks for the links. Some great eye candy in there ! I didn't have time to find it yet, as I'm just popping in and have to run out again, but do you know who did the settings on Megeve's pink/red and the green s.l.'s? (I'm glad I asked for the more pointy one, similar to the shape on hers.) Tx ! |

Say, what color gold would I set my orange s.l. in?
I guess it most would use yellow gold, as white gold would look silly. Tx. |

Nice find. Megeve's make me want one baaaaad! Seems to me yg would look best with your spess. Oooh, looking forward to seeing the finished piece!
Swala has a couple of spessartites and a tsavorite sugarloaf that I'd snap up if it weren't already reserved. http://www.swalagemtraders.com/search-gems/results.php --- Laurie |

Sorry for the typo in my above post.
The Swala's are gorgeous ! Thanks for the link. I do wish the cutters would do more of these. Hint to any cutters reading this: We will buy them Below is the link to the one I got (scroll down a bit). The seller sent other pictures to me and it looks nicer in those. I wonder if the 6 mm. I picked will be a little small. I've never had a sugarloaf so I don't know how these "work". I'm liking smaller stones nowadays, though. http://www.ebay.com/itm/230820084531?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649 |

No, I didn't get any although I'm always on the lookout. I think Megeve went to a local jeweller to get hers done?
