Since everyone seems to be looking for/wanting chrysoberyls these days, here are some good ones being offered by a great seller on LT. I apologize in advance but since she is selling three of them, I'm being lazy and giving you the link. The two ovals are $310 each and the Finewater cushion is being offered by $370.

Gosh thats gorgeous! I love the look for tanzanite but not its durability. It still could look nice as a pendant or as an occasional ring (with a big ass halo :appl:  )

If it were a garnet, ricezo, I'd be all over it! :Up_to_something: Nice stone though...

1.65 ct. A very pretty stone from Afghanistan, that I cut in my traditional square cushion, but with a concave cut pavilion. The cutting gives the stone total brilliance with no extinction. To the naked eye, the stone is clean, in this close up photo you do see some minor inclusions. Measures 7.223 mm

If I hadn't just purchased my garnet I'd be tempted! Love the colour and its a decent size. The tourm also looks promising! Not sure what's happened but I've dropped off his mailing list... Probably a blessing in disguise!

Let me see if this works! Apparently the photos listed on the 'news' page are higher resolution.

I really need to stop buying gems and concentrate on setting them instead!

Beautiful stones from Gene! I have fallen of the mail list as well and perhaps it's for the best

Edited to say I just received an e-mail from Gene...

Gene doesn't always send out an email when he adds stones. I doubt anyone has fallen off the mailing list. I didn't get one either, but I was checking daily to see if he added anything and saw these last night.

I like the concave cut tourmaline, but prefer a larger size. Need selfcontrol and more patience.
