A stone I sold to Gemline. It is a Richard Homer cut. It was originally an 11+ct that Richard asked me if he could cut to submit for the AGTA Cutting Awards a few years ago. He said he loved the color and wanted to make something unique. I just wish he could have left it over the magic 10ct mark

I know the color might not be everyone's cup of tea, but nicely cut, durable orange stones can be tricky to find. I'm also wondering whether the gray background hurts the stone in the saturation department, making it appear more brown (at least on my monitor) than it would in hand?

VZ: I am fascinated by that stone as well, although it indeed seems to have a lot of brown. Would be worth it to ask for additional pics.

In my search for a blue green emerald I stumbled across this little beauty from Lee Wasson. It's way above my budget. It's 1.24 ct and from the Chivor mine. If you are interested you need to contact Lee directly via email. On his website only the larger stones are published.

Virginia zee that garnet looks a lot like my pear shaped mandarin spess the Orange is wonderful in sun but darker in other settings. That silver pink spinal is lovely and think it sold quickly. How a PS r for it and shares setting.

I think so too! In terms of colour and cut it's such an exquisite stone. If I had not already spent my budget, I would have bought it for sure. It is a small stone but it has a lot of oomph

But his site is kinda hard to navigate; specifically, I was trying to find out if he sends his emeralds to AGL or GIA but couldn't find anything about that, or any real info as to treatment. It's an orange sapphire, not a garnet.

The description only says that it has Minor treatment on a scale of None - Minor - Moderate - Significant
I am sure Lee will provide you with the type of treatment if you contact him. Not sure whether Minor means it is only oiled?
