Funny how all things being equal, the pear looks more intense in color than the FOP...

Now that you mention it, I see it. Perhaps the tone is just a bit darker, making it appear more intense. I get confused between tone and saturation easily.

I love padparadcha colored diamonds. I was at a diamond exhibit at a museum a couple of years ago, and they had a 30+ carat orangy pink diamond there that just glowed to the moon. It was one of the most beautiful things I ever saw in my life. I've seen lots of large fancy colored diamonds before, but this one was just breathtaking.

TL, that sounds unbelievable! You'd dream about forever it after having seen that. The pear does look more saturated than the FO-P. Could be lighting. I love the oval just the same, really nice.

I can only imagine how saturated that FOP would look in a rose gold basket...

I like the oval more because the color to me is more saturated, but lighter in tone. I see some brown in the pear. I also don't like the bow tie in the pear, but now I'm nitpicking, because I would take it in a heart beat. ;))

I prefer the FOP over the FOB for the hue and saturation, but I'd either either in a heartbeat if gifted with one.

I don't like the bow tie in the pear either, TL. It's one reason I like the oval better. Bow ties, like windows, drive me crazy.

Here, here! I would be very happy to have the FOP and leave the pear for the next person. ;))

From Brad's drop today. Cat's eye & nice color. I'd nab this if I hadn't just bought an emerald cab. Was tempted anyway, but err... self-discipline, Laur!

I fell for this same stone! And I thought it totally belongs in this thread! Great minds and all that... genuinely hope a PSer gets this beauty (still second-guessing my hard-fought decision *not* to buy this myself).

That's exactly the one I was about to post. Too rich for my blood, but it's so cool!

In the video it's gorgeous! The photo doesn't do it justice & I'll bet it's even prettier in hand. Sigh, where's that spare 8K I had lying around? These things get lost so easily. :(sad

Just email the seller on LT. Seems like the seller purchased it from Gene (of PrecisionGems).
