It's tough, but rewarding. At least I had my twins first, before my youngest, so he was super easy.

Hey guys. So while I was in hospital this week (complications with the mc ) the cornish jeweller emailed, they didn't do me any sketches and we're suggesting a rub over setting instead. Basically they feel my design would leave the stone to open to damage. The other jeweller I spoke to also had concerns.


Sooo.... New ideas please? Thinking about saving a little longer to fund some diamond side stones....

I think I'll stick with my trusted jeweller. I need to pick up a necklace next week so will char to him then

So sorry about your health. Please take your time and extra care. Here are two more suggestions, both are PSers' rings.
1. Full bezel but the pavilion is open to allow for ease of cleaning and a bit of personal eye candy.
2. It looks like a bezel but is actually recessed into the setting and prong set.

I am so sorry MrsCornishWed for your loss! What a tough time you must be going through. Here is a huge hug. Gems help me so much too - I went through PPD with all three births and it was so hard, but it is over now and gemstones, planning the settings and the anticipation did help. Hormones suck sometimes!
