Small yellow diamond

So, my fiancee's engagement ring features a nice DBL yellow diamond, and I thought it would be nice to include one in my own wedding band. You know, as kind of a special connection sort of thing.

So, where would you say is the best place to source a single yellow stone of small melee size (maybe 1-2mm round)? Just something inexpensive (maybe even rough), but obviously yellow for its size (to be set into a standard gold men's ring). Should I just talk to whoever makes the ring, or look to ebay, or what?

This was probably more just an excuse to get back on here and look at member photos, but I figured I'd ask the question nonetheless.

Talk to David at DBL again. He'd have yellow melee, or could source it, and could probably burnish one (or a couple) into your ring. That's what I would do

While any vendor could order what you want this is the only online vendor I know of that offers melee FCDs online.

Yeah I am going to get back in touch with David after the New Year to start working on the bands. I assumed he would have no problem getting my small melee stone, but I figured I'd throw it out there on here, to see if there's a better place to source such a thing. I think I will just have it burnished or bezel set into a basic brushed gold ring, just as a sweet symbol.

Thanks, Kenny. That's pretty much what I was looking for. The price reference for a single stone will help a lot. Now I just have to resist putting together a nice parcel of multicolored melee for a necklace or earrings of some sort. Focus on the task at hand...
