What a GORGEOUS sapphire you have!!!!
![]() ![]() I can understand why you might have a little trouble finding a ring with sapphs of similar color and quality! Have you tried contacting a dealer to hunt down a suite of suitable stones, and then have the band made with them? Just a thought... widget PS: I''m reposting your ring so others can drool too

Yeah.. what you want is way better than 'commercial' and that means that jewelry produced in large volume is likely to fall short. The SP bands are lighter (about 1.4 cts compared to 2 cts) for about the same money as this. How abut all-blue? Btw. Maybe the same seller could help (at least with the stones for the band) - they would know precisely what you need to match the ring. |

My original e-ring is a sapphire also (not as beautiful as yours though) and I went with a sapphire and diamond band. They weren''t a set but look as if they are. I don''t think all sapphires in the band would look good with that ring. Getting stones that are a close match will probably be pretty hard though given the high quality of your stone. Good luck!

My gal and I went through a kind of similar process in looking for a wedding band to go with her sapphire and diamond e-ring. It was very difficult to find smaller untreated sapphires that could hold their own against her sapphire centerpiece. Sounds like you have a similar problem with your own magnificent sapphire - and a HUGE one to boot!
My recommendation - don't even try. Go with all diamonds - and get top quality ones like the ACA's from whiteflash. A magnificent sapphire deserves magnificent diamonds as companions. The interaction between diamonds and colored stones is simply outstanding. An "all diamond" band (full or half eternity) will reinforce your show stopping sapphire and not complicate things. Just my two cents. |

If anyone can pull off matching that with a sapphire band its Wink.
Give him a shot at it. www.winkjones.com |

If.....and that''s a really big IF....I could find small sapphs of the same quality/color as that beauty, I''d go with an all sapphire band. For some reason mixing blue and white in a band looks busy, or ''checker boardy'' to me..
Otherwise, I''d go with all diamonds... I just can''t get over drooling over that stone!!!! widget |

I think at this point it''s probably best to just go to local stores and try different styles on. Not only do you have to decide on stone shape, but also size. A .23 cttw band won''t cut it next to that big oval. You''ll need something substantial to go with it. As for shapes, I mix and match all the time, so it''s really just up to you. There may be someone on here that is willing to play around with photoshop for you and show you alternative styles as well. I would be careful that the edges of any diamonds in a band don''t rub up against your engagement ring and scratch it.
