Would anyone consider wearing a Tiffany-style solitaire with a colored gem as a RHR? I do not like sidestones very much or halo-type because I like the stone to be showcased and I like the timelessness of solitaires. I tried on some semi mounts at Helzberg the other day just to get an idea, and even as a RHR I kept coming back to the Tiffany style as what I liked most on my finger and just in general. The setting I am looking at is a simple 4 prong Tiffany style in YG with the gently tapered shank.
But I am concerned that it would look too much like an E-ring.
(My e-ring is also a Tiffany style solitaire but it is 6 prong. I have a wrap and an anniversary band that I wear with it often and when I want to dress it up, but honestly, my favorite look is the Tiffany style solitaire with my original, plain, no bling band that is about 4 mm wide because I just love the simplicity of it and to me it makes the stone pop). All of my other CS jewelry are some form of solitaire as well, with a few exceptions, but none of them are specifically "Tiff" style so they do not look like e-rings to me).
Just curious, thanks...would anyone wear that as a RHR anyway?
