Peridot options?

Whenever I am looking for jewelery, I end up on PS. Thanks for being such a great crowd!

I am looking for a 3ct+ peridot as a gift for my daughter (Aug girl). I plan to set it in a halo ring setting. Stone budget is <$1k. Prefer the crisp green stones (apple green) than yellowish green.

Anyone has any suggestions for me? MUCH APPRECIATED!

Have you looked here yet? 3 carats is a fairly large stone measuring 8 mm to 9 mm thereabouts. You aren't tied to a particular shape, right?

Thanks for all the great info. I looked at some of the vendors on the vendor list and also checked out the suggestions you gave. Love the idea of the 3 stones suite. Also love the 4.65ct suggestion. Here are three that look great to me (green mostly).

How is the last vendor?

What do the experts think? Or is there any other stones I should look at? I don't have a specific shape to look for but like the pear shape and the rectangular/cushion cuts.

It appears as though the last one by Jeff Davies was sold 15 weeks ago? He's a reputable vendor so no worries there. He does videos too and I prefer to view those over his static photographs.

Wow. That is one georgous stone. Are any other ones comparable but smaller? It's a real tough one to measure up to.
