That''s a gorgeous stone and it should look great in a ring. You probably already know this, but while it will look brilliant, it won''t sparkle like a diamond will.
Sapphires aren''t cut exactly like diamonds are so you *might* have to worry about the depth of the stone when getting a setting. Although with Ben Kho cutting it you probably don''t since I''m sure he cut for looks and not for weight. Might as well order it and see how you like it in person. Barbara has a good return policy so you can always send it back if it doesn''t speak to you. |

Thanks for the replies. Yeah, I''m aware of the diamond-white sapphire differences, although she wants white sapphire for this, so luckily I don''t have to worry about that :)
It sounds like with this vendor that it is low risk as far as taking a look with the high level of interest I have, it just makes me nervous to order things like this online through only pictures. I''m going to wait a little and look around some more to make sure that nothing else really captures my attention like this, but I''ll probably order it and take a look at it in the near future. |
