Hello forum,

I'm new here. Also new to flipping jewelery. I got myself a ring with a stone but i'm unsure if its natural black or heat treated.
Some help here would be nice. I got some rly detailed pics. Also i can get more from different angles, just ask.

Here we go:

99% of all black diamonds are heat treated. All natural black diamonds are available, but sell for 10x the price of heat treated. Most people balk at the price difference.

If it did not come with a reputable lab report, MUCH preferably from GIA, stating the origin of the color is natural, then the odds are 99.9999999% it was treated to get that black 'color'.

Why?
Money!

Black diamonds graded fully natural, both material and color origin, are hugely more expensive than treated ones.
Why would a seller sell a natural one at a treated price and flush lots of money down the drain?

I agree with Bryan.
