Oh it''s lovely! It''s so nice to see a good close up of a concave gem in a halo. I''m waiting on my stone (waiting, waiting... *sigh*) but my jeweller pulled a bit of a face when I described the setting I wanted and was a bit "Are you sure you want to go putting a very modern-looking stone in a very antique-y looking setting?"

He went by the jeweler and picked up my ring already!! My poor jeweler was SO confused when I went there over lunch!

I promptly called my FI and he was like, well you''ll get it when I decide to give it to you. I think he thinks I want some kind of elaborate (re)proposal since the first one was very un-proposal like. *sigh* I just want it on my finger so I can stare at it...

I had to laugh a little bit too. I mean I guess I did basically hijack the whole process away from his control and pick the stone, the setting, etc, etc.... So I guess he just wants control over some step of the whole thing. I just hope he doesn''t wait forever to "give it back" to me
