This Harry Winston Fancy Vivid Blue Diamond talks to me like no other.
I've seen it reported to be both 5 ct and 10 ct.
I'd even get my peepee chopped off so I could wear this lady's ring as is.

But you'd think they could find a competent bench-person to center those claws. :o :knockout:

Pretty stunning. Do you have any other shots from other angles, side and front shot? Be curious to see how the arms of that mount connecting to the side stones look.

62 ct Rockefeller sapphire ring designed by art deco jeweler Raymond Yard (probably my favorite for the simplicity and style), Chalk Emerald (Smithsonian collection), and the Richard Burton Ruby Ring (from the estate of the late Elizabeth Taylor).

As a male, I must say, that Rockerfeller ring is something. Extreme sophistication, simplicity and class. Looks almost architectural. Not the most effeminate ring out there, but certainly extremely slick.

OK so this is not my favorite color of pink but I wouldn't say no if offered this little beauty:
Estimated price: $19 million

The dazzling pink diamond is also from Golconda mine and is one of the highest estimated pieces in the auction. The rare diamond weighs 9.27-Carat and was first revealed in India centuries ago.

Re: for CIRCE!!!

and OK this is not a ring (well there is a ring pictured next to it actually but I am focusing on the tiara) but here's a tiara for Circe...enjoy! :appl:

The royal tiara, which was formerly in the collection of Princess Katharina Henckel von Donnersmarck circa 1900, went for a record 11.28 million Swiss francs ($12.76 million) to an anonymous buyer.

Too photoshopped, and not very realistic looking. I hate the photos on the HW site.

This thread reminded me of how scary the gem world can be with so many similarities in colour and style among very different kinds of gem, with ever more impressively different prices!

I wouldn't so much call it scary.
I'd say just be sure to independently verify what you are buying.
Being not well-informed and trusting the seller IS scary.
