Hey!!

Yes - this article and this one

http://www.gia.edu/cs/Satellite?blobcol=gfile&blobheader=application%2Fpdf&blobheadername1=Content-Disposition&blobheadername2=MDT-Type&blobheadername3=Content-Type&blobheadervalue1=attachment%3B+filename%3DNatural-Color-Nonconductive-Gray-to-Blue-Diamonds&blobheadervalue2=abinary%3B+charset%3DUTF-8&blobheadervalue3=application%2Funknown&blobkey=id&blobtable=GIA_DocumentFile&blobwhere=1355958392924&ssbinary=true

are my source of these fascinating diamonds from Argyle.

The second article compares IIb and Ia diamonds.

The diamond you post - remember the pink oval in the middle and the left and right these are HGBVs

Where is the pic of the marquise from??

And THANK YOU :appl: :appl:

If you have a HGBV check fluor. and phosphorescence - both yellow.

Also interesting if you have gray diamonds from Argyle mine.

"Maleficent" is a HGBV too!

The marquise is mine, I knew it was included but never saw the inclusions up close until recent. I will eventually send it to GIA. It is interesting about some blues conducting electricity and some not. Sadly I do not have a UV light to test my stones with. Can you recommend a good one that is affordable?

Another photo of an HGBV with inclusions like in the GIA article.

Buy the recharable battery too!!

I bought it on a mineral show!!! A special dealer for UV mineral :D :D !!

The people on amazon used it for detecting stains of their cats !!

You can use it in a hotel too - or better not :errrr:
