What kind of stones? Not all three are applicable to all syntetics... What means 'better'? (closer to natural imperfections, or crystal-clear, or?) Each technique you mention has a bunch of variations for each type of material synthetized

Sorry, Rubies and saphire and spinel mainly. better is: 1: hardness, color , shading and replectivity identical to the real thing. ie not too glassy etc 2: available eye clean or better 3: toughness - ie not weaker than than the real thing because of crystal structure or inclusions
