The beetles (scarabs?) alone make me want this so bad. Hmm.. a gift for my daughter who loves bugs? But, she doesn't wear earrings. I'll wear them until she gets her ears pierced!

What could you put in the compartment of the earrings?

Has anyone seen anything else that looks like this beautiful set? Does it have a name?

Oh my! That is so incredibly beautiful and would go wonderfully with formal dress to the theater! You don't need pierced ears to wear these; they are screw backs (around the lobe) so fork out $14K and they are yours.
