Well, I don't think either of them are eye-clean... particularly if for an engagement ring - but perhaps to you/intended wearer it is worth the cost of shipping back and forth to see in person?

I like the one from Gary. He has it at VS, so I think it'd be worth seeing. And it's well cut.

Any thoughts about #300 from GemFix?
Sparkly and brilliant pink spinel round. Color is a flashy mauve-pink with flashes of peach. Gorgeous Portuguese style cut and clean. Pantone Color Card 673C with flashes of 1635C. (Cut by Andrew Gulij)

I think that one might be worth seeing in person. I hesitate when I view a color description as "mauve" because sometimes this color (light purple) can be actually grey. So hard to buy online.....

Yeah, you have a fair point, Lisa. At the very least, maybe it's worth an email to Laura at Gemfix? She may also have something else that could work.
