Hm... very much depends on how your stone looks, but here's some related examples I could remember of:
1.07 Fancy Yellow 1.09 Fancy Light Yellow 1ct Fancy Yellow I would consider these relatively inexpensive for several reasons, and there are more examples where these come from. About your stone - which I would love to see, btw. - the REALLY deep cut does enhance the intensity of color viewed face-up (and this is how the stone was graded). It is possible that the stone would not have been called "fancy yellow" but "fancy light" if the cut was different. This is theory, but surely the price depends on the actual color apperance as well as on the grade. I am sure this only complicates things rather than helps Hope a more informed opinion would follow, as unusly happens here ! |
