I thought this got lost in the mail but it finally arrived today. The facet reflection makes it photograph a little brown but in real life its all orange.

nice! my personal experience is that spess color is better when deeper cut....assuming the rough was good in the first place. love the simplicity of the setting that let's your lovely spess be the star of the show. nicely done

The color of the stone is great! I don't know its origin, but it has this "flame" quality of really beautiful spessartities. The simplicity of the setting shows the stone in its full beauty, and I like double prongs. Great ring, I bet it will be noticeable and you'll receive many compliments on it!

megeve, you can see the acorn through the open gallery, which I love. Originally I wanted a tension type setting but I decided I wanted something stable, with prongs.

OK, I had to lock my credit card in the jewelry box till tomorrow. Tell me, please, is the stone that's killing you close to yours in color?

I tried to convert the prices in AUD to USD ... did not look too promising...
