Thank you Packrat.  BTW, this is not my stone, but it was the tourmaline I was referring to as the most neon I have ever seen in a photo.  There''s no copper in this stone.  This was sold a long time ago - but not to me.Image

This picture exemplifies why I love bezels on some stones.  Dark bezel, glowing stone.  The sun is being covered by my hand.  This stone actually glows more when it's in the shade.

I am pretty sure I never posted our engagement rings in this thread! So, here they are. They''re both garnets, mine is 5.5mm and a pink/purple, and hers 6mm and a deep red. Here are some pictures!

Pretty garnet rings - congratulations on your marriage!!

Finger full of Beryls.

Aquas ranging from dark to light (ranging from 8 to 14 carats).
A Morganite (pink 8 carats)
A Heliodor (yellow 4 carats)

Finger full of platinum, greys and blues

12mm Tahitian pearl
Giant platinum band
1.05 carat Brazilian alexandrite (looking very bluish greyish purple here)
platinum diamond scatter band with princess cuts and rounds.

I don''t think I have posted my pink tourmaline ring here yet. It is a 2.04ct Mozambique tourmaline but by Barry Bridgestock, set in a LOGR setting. The setting was custom made to fit the 8mm stone.

My rubellite is in the same setting, and I just love red/pink stones in that setting.  Well just about any stone looks great in that setting.  It''s so beautiful, congratulations!!

Here is my red spinel ring with round sidestones. The red is brilliant and intensive, especially in sun light and evening light. Almost everyone saw it mistook it for a ruby. Center stone 1.9ct.
