Buying Gems and Rough Oveseas

Hi folks,

I wrote this article for Jewellery Business magazine on my buying trips. It's got lots of photos and is not only a view of my travels, but a study in my hair over the past 6 years

Tom take amazing photos. My particular favorite is of my weighing gems with the scale balanced on the back of a motorbike in Ratanapura.

I'll be giving a slideshow and talk on this Feb 18th at the GIA Alumni Association in San Francisco if anyone there is interested.
