I hope someone can help me out a bit. I am thinking of purchasing an emerald cut tanzanite from Africagems, and I am getting the setting from LOGR. Even though it is not a huge price (about 500 dollars) I do not want to send my stone to China, because I am afraid of it getting lost or misplaced, so I thought about getting it done by Marc at Africagems. Marc said that it is possible that he could set his stone in my setting - which I am super happy about because here in Switzerland finding a jeweler that will set stones are extremely hard and even if they do they will charge more than the setting price just for labour charges alone. So basically I want to know if anyone has had any experience with Africagems setting their stones in a setting for them.
Hopefully someone would have had some experience with this and is willing to share.
