It isn't!!!! I know!!!

I don't know.... would like to see it live!! Maybe awesome - maybe not....I need an aspirine :knockout:

That large area of extinction in the middle of the stone will remain dark most of the time, if not all of the time. I've learned that when buying stones from Multicolour you need to pay very close attention to cut issues in the picture, and in this example if there is obvious extinction in the picture, there will be obvious extinction in hand. But Brazilian Alexandrites, with strong color change, are typically very dark stones. However I would bet that this stone will give you some lovely hot pink flashes in mixed lighting.
