So, I am a very indecisive person and for the life of me cannot settle on a color/colors for more than a week. We just booked a place this week and it included gold table clothes and gold chiavari chairs. Originally I wanted a purple and orange color scheme. My first question is would that still work.

Next, the wedding is in July, so I want bright summer colors. I was thinking purple and gold but that seems very fall like. Any ideas to keep it summery? I was entertaining the idea of a light blue as well.

Any opinions, suggestions, recommendations, or anything would be awesome! Thanks.

I think a light lilac and gold could look lovely in the summertime! I totally understand being indecisive on colors though!

I have already asked my bridesmaids and they keep asking me colors....every time they ask I have a different scheme haha.... I have plenty of time to choose those, my wedding is in 2013.

I think either the lighter purple or the blue wakingdreams posted look lovely and fresh for summer time.

Also, I know what you mean about colours,my lack of decisiveness on this front has caused many a hissy fit on my part. My wedding is early April, I decided on final colours mid december. I also changed the entire style/look I was going for. Nightmare.

For some reason I am leaning towards the blue, its nice a bright. I know its only been a little bit since my original posts. Does anyone have ideas/pictures of ways to incorporate purples and pinks into the flowers if the bridesmaids are a light blue like wakingdreams posted?

This?

Hmm, actually I don't know. The blue is so soft and pretty I'm not sure these flowers would do it justice. I also found the flowers rerally hard to imagine what would work but my new theory; find a florist with a really great eye, show her pictures/ swatches etc and what you had in mind and just let her do her thing.

It looks a little like a baby shower, with the pink in there, IMO.

I also like the purple and orange color schemes (doesnt necessarily sound appealing but looks pretty) with more of a violet purple not a dark purple.

Saffron Yellow and Violet is very pretty. Fabulous for summer. I love orange and violet, but think it's a little more fall than the saffron yellow.

I really think you are on to something with that. I personally would pick either the violet or the turquoise and not do both with the yellow. But it DOES work in the pic.

And since you were considering it, orange and purple.
