hi there!

i was wondering if there is a slang word for husband that irish people use? it can be slang or an endearing term.

FI and i were thinking to say as part of our vows

Ringster, I choose you for my {thai word for wife meeyah (not sure of the spelling when translated) - it's a funny word that the thai speaking people at the wedding will chuckle at},...

and then I would say

Mr. Ringster, I choose you for my {irish term for husband}

i don't want to ask my irish relatives cause i want it to be a surprise

thank you!
