Such a nice place for a mini-moon, we had our National Sales Meeting there in 2004 (the company prides itself on very nice meetings ala Four Seasons) and I found it to be just lovely, quiet and tranquil. It was undergoing some renovations at the time so I bet its even nicer now. And the bathtubs are fantastic- bring some bubble bath
Remember every day the importance of "Be Here Now." Don't just show up, don't dwell on the past or worry needlessly about the future. Instead, be present in the moment and make your time count.
In loving memory of BLN....gone at 36, we know you'd give anything to be here with us now and we all promise to live as you would have: balls to the wall & full speed ahead! |

Not Italy YET! lol We''ll go in about a year and a half, when my FI''s second book gets published. This little mini honeymoon is just so we can get away after the wedding and relax. :) We are planning to go to Sardinia first (my FI lived there as a little boy and wants to spend a three or so days there) and then off to see Rome, Venice and Florence. I am really looking forward to it. A girlfriend of mine went in September, it was her fourth trip. Lucky lady! :) |

LOL, that is what I meant...sorry if I wasn''t clear. I just meant I think it''s a great idea to relax in Palm Springs first after the wedding, and then do the honeymoon in Italy later. Italy is great, but sightseeing is pretty tiring!
I haven''t been to Sardinia, but I heard it is wonderful. Funny story about it actually...my boyfriend (soon to be husband) is an Aussie and we met in Europe. We traveled on and off for weeks together but came to a head when we were in Sorrento, Italy. He wanted to go to Sardinia, I wanted to go to Greece. We knew our journey together was coming to an end but wanted to prolong the inevitable. But neither of us would budge about where we wanted to go...and in the end, our love of travel won out over romance. We parted ways in Naples and I thought I would never see him again. I liked Greece, but for a long time I always wondered what Sardinia would have brought... Things all worked out in the end...I think he liked me for my independence (which was heightened by the fact I did NOT follow him to Sardinia). We both ended up back at home thinking about each other...and HE eventually followed ME halfway across the world, and now we are planning our wedding. :) Venice is lovely...so romantic (although so packed with tourists in some areas). Just don''t go when it''s high water season! :) |
