| LOOK at this bustle!!!! (Or, my dress fitting went so well!) |

I went in for my second-to-last fitting today, and thankfully the dress fit me just fine even after eating pounds of feta cheese in Greece for two weeks.
And I got my first glimpse of what the bustle is going to look like, and I love it! (Sunnygirl--are you going to have yours bustled this way, too? I think it fits the dress so well.) Anyway, they took it in at the bust and waist, so I was nervous, but it fits perfectly. Okay, a picture of the bustle from the back (it''s just pinned up at the moment, but this is what it will look like):

Thanks, ladies! Your positive comments just made my morning. You all are just so wonderful.
I have to admit, I had a moment of serious "OHMIGOSH WHAT THE HECK IS THAT?!?!" thoughts when I first saw the bustle, but it was just one tiny moment, and then I went from doubt to love. I love that it''s different, and asymmetrical like the dress, and that it doesn''t stick out very far from my behind, always a bonus. Winston--Thank you for the tip. I was just going to bring my one sister who is my MOH, but maybe I''ll bring all three to learn how to bustle. I didn''t even think about it being difficult. Sabine--Yes! That is my veil. It''s pretty funky with tulle and Russian netting, I love it! There''s a thread on it somewhere, I can''t seem to find it. |

This is so true!! Mine was a very simple french bustle with only like three hooks and after the ceremony no one could could remember how to do it! LOL!! So you might want to write it down and/or draw a map of how it all connects. |
