Mine did that too. Try resizing the window so that it is as wide as it goes (or even make the browser full screen). This showed me *most* of what had been cut off ---- most importantly that GORGEOUS ring

I think it's because it's the first post on the next page. For some reason, PS always scrunches that post down on my screen (all the other posts are fine).

But as I was writing this, I had the genius idea to scroll down and see if I could see the whole picture in the topic review. And I can! What a great picture - love the ring and your nails!

Shellac manicures are the way to go!

Mine didn't chip in 2 weeks, and I'm only removing after 3 weeks as my nails have grown so much.

Meanwhile, I have been having heartache trying to get my reply cards printed. I took my invites to the local Office Max and they printed just fine, but the reply cards are small and won't work in their big machines. So I drove to 4 other places yesterday, none of those stores can print them, either. So, I have lovely invites, but no reply cards. Ughhhhh.

FMS, I had a FABULOUS weekend. And I completely abandoned my diet and ate and drank to my heart's content. It was totally worth it, and I'm really not paying for it that badly, LOL. My friend was a beauuuuutiful bride and she will make a fabulous bridesmaid in THIRTEEN DAYS...HOLY UNDER TWO WEEKS, BATMAN!

Sorry for this snafu, FMS! Do you have the reply cards pre-cut? Is there any way you can get larger pieces of cardstock and just cut them down to size after printing so their printers are capable of doing it? Or if they're not pre-cut, can you alter the file to print 2+ per sheet?

Wellll, crap. Any way you can just suck it up and reorder some cardstock just for the reply cards? How many will you need? I'm guessing they're just like 3x5 card size? You can fit quite a few of those on one sheet of stock from Michael's...

vc - you can do this! You will get done everything that needs to get done...and most of the things you want to get done! Take a breathe, relax, and put your head down. Figure out what you can do while drinking a glass of wine. Anything that can be done successfully with a glass of wine should be done with a glass of wine. We may have ruined a program or two with drops of red (didn't have a bottle of white in the hotel room then!), but damn we had fun. Ask friends for help. Ask anyone for help. I was really surprised at the random people who were willing to help me out. Give them a chance to offer.

I just got asked to be a BM in a wedding in September. When she told me our dresses were going to be from J.Crew I was excited... until I saw which dress she chose! I keep hoping it's really cute on and in person, but until I see it I'm not convinced. It's the satin Darlene dress and I just can't see how this is going to do ANYTHING kind to my big hips! Eep!

When all was said and done, she took in almost an inch and a half!!! It's snug, but not uncomfortably so, but I also reeeeaaalllly have to watch what I eat the next 11 days!

Yesterday we got a Thank You card in the mail from FSIL's baby shower (yes, the same FSIL I posted about having a awkward relationship with before). She addressed it to Hisfirstname and Myfirstname Hislastname. Amazing! It was the first time I'd seen my first name with his last, which is great, but I know it especially means a lot coming from her. It's a silly little thing, but it made me feel like she's really accepting me into her family, and it made me that much more excited to get married!

blacksand, that's super sweet of your FSIL! We got a few Christmas cards this year from FI's family addressed to Anthony and Victoria HisLastName and I giggled like a school girl. I did the same today when I typed up our escort cards and typed "Mrs. Victoria HisLastName" with "bride" underneath it.

Seriously, you look great! I need to do whatever you're doing, because I feel like my weight loss has stalled for the last few weeks.

VC & blacksand, I guess you two are both changing your names? I kind of always assumed I'd changed my name, but I'm having a weird resistance to it now that it's become a short-term reality. I keep thinking, BUT THAT'S NOT MY NAME! I ALREADY HAVE A NAME! I know I don't have to change it, but when we have kids, I know I'll want us all to have the same name. So then I wonder what's the point of holding off. Knowing myself (I'm a terrible procrastinator) I'll probably put it off for a while, especially since I've been told by my married friends that changing your name is a PITA. But we'll see...I know FI wants me to change it, but he also knows it's my decision ultimately.

I'm at least leaving it for the rest of this year, because we're planning to book a honeymoon for December or January, and I assume if I book in my maiden name, I'll want to keep it while we're traveling. I know the issue has been discussed plenty before on PS, but I think it's an interesting discussion - especially when it's immediately relevant (as we're all getting married soon!)
