hi abradabra,
your shoes are absolutely stunning - so sexy - and i am sure they will look great with your dress. it is amazing you found shoes that are cute yet comfy, good job. will you be wearing them before your wedding to "break them in" (sorry, don't know the english term, i am guessing here) and how with you deal with the straps? i find they ususally hurt, cause blisters, etc. - especially in summer (isn't your wedding soon?). i kind of know what it feels to see it all "coming togehter", as i my fitting will be today as well... only i have yet to decide whether to wear a veil or not.  i am sooo excited...regards, cashmere |

Do you think you''ll be able to dance ok in them? Re: the straps, someone posted something on little pads for sandals. I can''t remember what they were called, but apparently they make a world of difference... |

I finally got the pics from my mom, so here you guys go! I should say, the photographs aren''t nearly as favorable as I would have liked... The dress doesn''t make my boobs (or my waist) look nearly that large. The dress also makes me look super tall, which is very exciting. I''m a little girl, and I''m not standing on a box or anything in those pics!

Stuart Weitzman makes them--I got them at one of his retail shops, but saw them at almost every department I''ve wandered through recently. I wore them out to dinner the night I bought them to break them in and I had no problems. I think I should dance well in them, but if that day is particularly hot, they might not be so comfortable if my (rather wide to begin with) feet swell a lot. The nice thing too is that SW will replace the crystals for as long as I have the shoes--so I''ll be able to keep them for a long time to come to remember the wedding! |
is the dress silk? it has a wonderful sheen to it!!

Oh, abra...I just saw your pictures...you look gorgeous!! Your dress is perfect for you--beautiful & classic & the long veil is lovely! You must be so excited!
