DIY Hair ideas needed for a beach wedding in 100 days!!

Okay ladies,

I''m back once again enlisting your fantastic advice and help. I''m getting married 100 days from today on a beach in Key West. I''ve found my dress, but now I''m off in search of a very casual hairstyle that I can do myself the day of my wedding. My FI and I are going on our own to the Keys, so we want it to be VERY low key. I''ll be doing all my hair, makeup, nails, on my own. I have shoulder length layered brownish-blonde hair and I''m hoping for either a wavy all down look, or a half updo. My concern of course is that it''s on the beach so I''ll have the sun and wind to contend with. Any ideas, pics or websites that you can recommend??

Oohhh... all the way down will be gorgeous, casual and VERY "beach wedding".... and sun/wind won''t be able to do too much harm. In fact, I wonder whether the salt water from the sea wouldn''t help make your waves even prettier? I read about it all the time in magazines, and have seen it work on friends. (My hair curls up no regardless of what I try to do with it, so I wouldn''t know.)

I realize you wanted to see pics for inspiration... I don''t have any... only my opinion. For some reason, your wedding location in the Keys and loose, beachy waves just go beautifully together.

Now a Mrs.!

The idea of loose hair whipping in the ocean breeze is lovely... but probably not reliable. I would pull the top part back because I know that I would not be so lucky as to have the wind blowing into my face, and I would be eating my hair instead of saying my vows!

Thanks Ms. Cushion and Guity Pleasure! I''d really like to have my hair down for that day, but my hair tends to frizz when I''m at the beach, so of course that wouldn''t be a great look. I love the thought of the beachy waves, but who knows if it would actually WORK.

Does anyone have pics of casual wedding hair or beachy looks?

You need to buy an Enzo... its like curling iron except without the clamp... and its AMAZING! :-) It gets REALLY hot (like a chi) and therefore it holds the curls so much better... and IMHO i think it make curls so much prettier :-) I wish I had a decent pic of when I did my hair like that... Ill have to look to see if I can find one... but you can curl it and just put a pomade in it to help hold it better.... but they arent that expensive and im sure you will use it again :-)

you can get it on ebay... just type in ENZO and I got the 1 inch one... it does take some practice... but you have time... it comes pretty natural after a while... but it gives you the really pretty soft waves almost... not curls that come from a curling iron... :-)
