One of my best friends is having a small wedding in Lake Tahoe tomorrow. It was pretty last minute (they just decided to get married a week ago) and she asked me to be her witness/MOH. I''m super excited for her! Anyway, I completely miss planning my wedding so I offered to make bouquets for her and I! We went to costco today to get flowers and this is what I came up with! The bouquet with the gerber daisies is hers, and the one with just roses is mine. (Sorry these aren''t the best pictures...) I''m going to make boutonnieres for her groom and the best man tomorrow!

Wow they are lovely Pearl! I especially love the brides, i love the flower/colour combination.

I was thinking of DIY flowers also, was it hard to do?

I had to start over a couple of times to get the shape right, but once I got the hang of how to handle the flowers, it was pretty easy! I googled "diy wedding bouquet" or something like that and found a helpful website with step-by-step instructions and photos. Unfortunately I closed it and can''t find it again, but I''m sure if you google it, you''ll find A TON of info. I even saw some youtube videos that may be good to look at. And I had a lot of fun making them!

Those look really awesome! I especially love the brides bouquet with the contrasting colors and textures!

They are gorgeous, but can I be totally honest? The babies breath make them look a little dated (they were very popular in the 80s). Is the bride set on that filler, or could you use something else maybe? Just my two cents, they look so professional, but I am just not loving the babies breath. Hope you are not offended! You have done such a great job Pearl!
