I was browsing through your pro pictures and noticed that your MOH is in a wheelchair. I also have a bridesman who's in one due to Frederich's Ataxia and was wondering how you did things as far as going down the isle. I've talked to him about it and we aren't sure whether to have him go alone, with someone pushing him or with a groomsman walking next to or behind him. I have 3 bridesmaids plus the bridesman (so 4 on my side) and there's 6 groomsmen so any insight would be wonderul!

PS - I hope this isn't offensive at all .. I didn't want to threadjack your beautiful pictures!

Nope, not offensive!

She and her sister were my two MOHs and we had one best man (6 BMs total and 5 GMs total) so we had her and her sister walk down on either side of the best man after the ceremony.

During the processional we had the girls walk in alone so the two MOHs walked together and then each bridesmaid alone. The girl in the chair can push herself (her chair doesn''t even have handles for someone to push her). During the rehearsal we did try her putting an arm through the best man''s arm and then her sister on the other side so the best man would essentially be pulling her back down the aisle but that didn''t work out so well so the best man and the sister walking were linked arm in arm and the MOH in the wheelchair pushed herself next to them.

The only thing she really needed help with was getting up on the altar since they, along with the best man, were up there with us during the ceremony. Her sister gave her a lift up the two steps to get onto the altar and I am assuming helped her down after we walked out.

From the numbers you gave me I was thinking that you could have the best man already be up at the altar with your FI (or if your FI is being escorted in with his parents the best man could follow close behind them). This would leave 5 GMs to walk down. One could go with each of your bridesmaids leaving 2 more without an escort. Perhaps the remaining GMs and the bridesman could all go together, in a group or individually.
