Substantial diamond jewelry took center stage at the 2012 Academy Awards. Celebrities sported luxurious jewels in tasteful combinations: Simple earrings were paired with grand necklaces, while elaborate chandeliers and drop earrings flew solo. Notable pieces include Natalie Portman’s v-shaped diamond necklace from Harry Winston, Octavia Spencer’s 20-carat diamond briolette earrings from Neil Lane, Michelle Williams’ Fred Leighton bow brooch, and an enormous cushion cut diamond ring from Jacob & Co. worn by Milla Jovovich.
