Recent Education	I recently attended the AGS Conclave and took seminars on Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald; Pearl Evaluation, the New AGS Cut Grade, Antique and Estate Jewelry and Advanced Diamond Grading all put on by GIA. I also attended an alumni seminar that Tom Chatham gave on the new diamond synthetics.

Services for Other Businesses	I have not had this happen. If I was doing an appraisal for a customer who purchased it at a store that I do appraisals for, I would tell them. Normally, my appraisals are done after the sale.
Opinion	I feel that it is important for customers to find an appraiser who can not only identify gemstones, but one that is knowledgeable in appraisal theory. The appraiser should also be independent if possible. This will result in an appraisal that is both accurate and objective. I specialize in providing a high level of customer service with appraisals by appointment and fast turnaround times.

With this process the stone must be loose/unmounted.
